Queen’s Birthday Party
The queen’s birthday party was last Saturday. This party was in memory of the Queen of England which they celebrated her birthday on the last Saturday. The party began at the morning but since the CDS band was going to play on the party the teacher told us we could be there at 1 o’clock pm. We were not the only ones play in the party there were other bands and typical dances also on the stage. Are presentation started at 1:35. We played about eight to ten songs. I think that in overall we didn’t play very well because there were some mistakes in some songs we have to fix, but I think the good thing is that the audience didn’t recognizes them so we were satisfied with are results we ended up having. After the presentation we had to work in cleaning up the stage for other peoples presentations. We had to also put are instruments and the whole percussion set up that we brought from the school away in a bus that are teacher rented. After that were walking all over the place to see what we could so we stop and got some hamburgers and hot dogs that were really good. Other people also ate some Indian food which they seemed to liked eat. After we ate that their was a stand for TBCY which there we ate some very good flavors of ice cream. At the end almost everything was over so we walk until all are parents were in the British ambassadors house to pick us up. While we were walking we saw some delicious drinks so we didn’t have enough money so they told us we could have it for free so then all the band members came and took the last parts of the drinks. I think going to a different was a nice experience and I am looking forward to next years Queen’s Birthday Party.
