I agree with you and I also get your point when you say that we do have freedom as long as we don't offend others and we don't say bad words. We all have freedoms but we also have some limits to those freedoms. If we all had complete freedoms without any limit, people could have their feelings hurt as well. Also, freedom of speech is very important so that people can express their selves freely without being laughed at, like you said. You had very interesting points in this entry. Keep up the good work!

Your point on that when you blog freedom of speech means not to get criticized or laugh at by other people is very interesting and something that most of us hope. However then why do you believe it is important when students laugh at other students? I agree with you all the way freedom of speech is very important since it could be considered on what symbolizes are world today.

I agree with you that people need to respect what you write even if they disagree. I know that if someone laughed at my opinion I wouldn't want to express myself again. When I blog I like to feel free to express my point of view with whatever I have on my mind, don't you? Even though it may be controversial, I still feel that I have the right to write what I want, just as long as it isn't insulting. Like you, I also wouldn't like getting criticized or laughed at for my opinion.

Oh yeah, and I read about your experience for the baseball tryouts. Congratulations!
Keep up the great work.

Hey noel!
I totally agree with you. I think that to be able to have freedom of speech you need to have the other's people respect and be able to do things without getting laughed at. When this happens, you don't feel like if you have freedom of speech because they criticize you and you don't want share your things again. I had never thought about freedom helping you defend yourself but I can understand your point. If you feel that you don't have freedom of speech, its harder to speak up for yourself. Great job!
