Baseball season started in March 30, 2008 the first game was played in Washington Dc. The first game was actually in Japan between the Boston Red Sox and the Oakland Athletics in a two game series. I think that the season started not very well because not all there players have reached there best. I think this is because they didn’t play in about 4 months so there actually trying to reach there best. I also think that some very good teams that experts have predict that they would reach the divisional playoffs have started really poor. They are not playing well and haven’t scored too many runs and this couldn’t be happening because to the teams that they are having problems are the ones that have the best offense in the league. For example the Detroit Tigers have lost every game of this season and they have one of the best offenses and defenses of the whole major leagues. Many players have got injured just for one week since the season started which means that all the teams will struggle throughout the league. Another fact is that the worst teams have started better than than the best teams of the leagues. Another example is the New York Yankees have a outstanding team for this years season and they haven’t score 5 or more runs on all their games. I think that this season won’t be the best of all but still some interesting things could happen.
